Miscommunication is a biotch, and is expected from the doctors I work for. But when *I* screw up, it's unacceptable. I am so mad at myself for not calculating the days correctly. As a result, I am over worked today and I'm trying hard not to feel the pressure.
I did take some time to go to Walmart and get some child proofing measures for the kitchen. A little man likes to open up drawers and cabinets. The only one that worries me is the one with the chemicals, really.
I'll go to Target in a few days to get a gate to block the stairs. He's an expert at climbing stairs. I also need to get bumper pads for my living room coffee table. It's unusually tall, and it hits him right in the chest. He got a boo-boo yesterday from it and he kind of whimpered for about two and a half seconds. I rubbed it and made it feel all better. I saw those bumpers and knew I should have gotten then before he started walking. Silly me. It always takes a casualty to get you moving on child safety!!
