I watched 2 hours of TV last night (Dollhouse, tape delay CSI) and then I sewed a little bit. I wanted to give my nieces both a "set" of the bags. I still have to make a large bag before I leave for the party. Anyway, once that was done I had about 45 minutes of work left to do. I was showered and in bed by 1 a.m.
This morning I got up and went to Filipino Doc's office, dropped off and picked up more work. It's not TOO incredibly bad. Maybe 6 hours of work to do. I have 3.5 hours before Scott gets home before we take off for the party. So I should have half of it done today. I will work from sun up to sun down tomorrow *sigh* I will be so ready for this time off, it's not even funny.
I had to go to the bank this morning and then take mother grocery shopping. There was a recipe I wanted to do for the party, but realized I hadn't the time to defrost the chicken, much less soak it and bake it. So I decided I would be doing it for Halloween. It's intriguing, combining a sauce of caramel topping (YES!! I know!?) with chipotle peppers in adobo sauce. Hot & sweet. I bet it will be de-freaking-licious!!! I got two magazines, one for Christmas cookies (I know, I know!!!) and Paula Deen's newest one. I need to give it up and get a subscription already. Although I have passed on her last two mags as they weren't that interesting. This one had halloween stuff in it :)
Now I'm home, had breakfast, watched Stacey and Tammy and it is time to start with the work. I may do a vlog tonight, but if I did it now, the commets would distract me from my goal of completing half of my work before I leave today :)
Have a great Sunday!
